Tyler is a Marine Corps veteran and software engineer who came to trading the hard way. He's been actively trading since 2014, and like many traders, his journey didn't start smoothly — he joined countless communities and paid for "gurus," losing over $30,000 before finding his footing.
He taught himself to program at 14 and has written software ever since. For over 12 years he worked as a software engineer across transportation, airline, and commercial banking — most recently leading a team of 30 engineers building systems that handled hundreds of millions of dollars in lending power. In January 2026 he left to build StaxInvesting full time.
So he built his own edge. After three years of research and thousands of hours of testing, he created the Dual Trend strategy in 2023. It didn't just recover every dollar he had lost — it transformed his trading entirely, producing five-figure weeks and six-figure months.
Then he engineered the software to automate it — so you don't have to fly solo. By May 2025 he had a fully automated options system managing real money. As of October 2026, StaxInvesting has grown to over 176 subscribers all benefiting from the same edge.
