The automation system requires basic trading knowledge. While we handle the technical setup and provide ongoing support, you should understand the fundamentals of options trading before getting started.

We recommend you understand concepts like calls/puts, strike prices, and basic risk management. If you're completely new to trading, we suggest learning these basics first — but you don't need to be an expert. The automation handles the complex execution, timing, and emotion management for you.

The automation service is $400/month with no long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime.

This includes access to our premium alert strategies (OG, LIM, DailyTrend), the automation software, self-guided setup wizard, and ongoing support through Discord.

Yes, there are commissions and regulatory fees charged by the brokerage. You can view the complete fee schedule at TastyTrade's fee page and the detailed commissions and fees document (look at the options category).

Important: The fees are wrapped into the cost of the contracts when trading, so the profit you see in a trade is the profit you get. Roughly 98% of the time you will make more money in the trade than the cost of the fees. The only exception is on break-even trades with 0 profit, but those costs are covered by other winning trades.

Hosting cost: Heroku cloud hosting for your automation software runs approximately $5-10/month depending on usage.

There are no limits or penalties for withdrawals. You can deposit or withdraw whenever you want. We recommend keeping your balance at or above $3,000 for optimal trading capacity.

We currently only support TastyTrade. It was created by the same lead developers who created ThinkOrSwim and was designed to be an API-first broker specifically for algorithmic traders. It's one of the few brokerages that allow trading options by API and offers the best liquidity and infrastructure built for software-based trading.

While we prefer not to share full account statements as they contain personal information, we're happy to show historical P&Ls, trading journals, and performance data during consultation calls.

The automation software gives you two options:

Option 1: Use Our Premium Alerts
You can choose from our proven strategies: OG, LIM, DailyTrend, or ALL (which uses all three premium strategies combined). Each strategy is independent—on some days one strategy can win while others lose. When you select "ALL", you're utilizing all three strategies together in a single automated instance.

Option 2: Use Webhook Functionality
You can configure the software to trade with your own strategies using webhooks. This includes: TradingView alerts, your own custom software, AI-generated signals, or even alerts from another Discord group. The webhook functionality gives you complete flexibility to automate any strategy you trust.

No daily trade limits as long as your capital can support it. PDT (Pattern Day Trader) rules only apply to margin accounts, and we use this software with cash accounts.

The only limitation is you cannot trade with unsettled funds (which would result in a Good Faith Violation). Our software has built-in safeguards to only trade up to your available balance each day to allow for settlement time.

Most of our strategies average ~5 trades per day, which our backtesting has found to be most profitable. The software is fully configurable, allowing you to set a max trades per day based on your strategy or preference. No balance thresholds required.

Yes! The automation has an on/off toggle. You have full control over the software and can pause or stop it anytime.

Our historical data shows a 97% win rate that our alerted trades will hit ≥5% profit. However, this stat doesn't include drawdown values and applies more to manual traders.

When you automate trades, you set hard stop losses and take profit values. When accounting for max drawdown, it changes the win rate. Profitability is about math and risk-to-reward ratio - you can be profitable with a 40% win rate if you make 3x more on wins than losses.

Example: With a 50% win rate, making $2 per win and losing $1 per loss, you're still profitable overall.

There is no such thing as a 100% win rate trading strategy. Losses happen regardless of the strategy you follow. The results shown in our demo are cumulative returns - not every customer experiences losses on the same days.

Strategy selection and individual settings significantly affect outcomes. The setup wizard includes recommended settings that offer low-risk and consistent long-term growth.

Out of 70 total members, we've had 2 quit. No members have lost all of their money.

Crypto automation will operate on the same software but run as a separate instance on a different brokerage. We're currently testing with BitUnix, though supported exchanges may expand.

Full Control: Since crypto runs in its own instance, you'll have all the same controls to adjust settings, enable, disable, pause, etc.

Account Required: Yes, you'll need to set up an account with BitUnix or another supported exchange.

The software itself does not provide tax reports. Your brokerage provides tax reports. At the end of the year, you'll receive tax documents directly from TastyTrade.

The software license allows 1 license per running instance. You can install on multiple computers, but it can only run on one instance at a time.

Recommended: Cloud Installation - This is how I run it and how all 98 current subscribers run it. Not a single member has opted to run it on their own machine. If you run it on your local computer and turn it off, the software stops running.

Our setup wizard walks you through installing it in your own cloud instance, ensuring 24/7 uptime regardless of your computer's status. If a cloud instance goes down, you can easily reinstall on another.

We have a crypto automation offering that is in the beta stages of testing. We intend to release the crypto automation around January 2026.

We currently do not offer futures automation, but that is our next goal. Once we release the crypto automation we will be bringing our same automation services to futures!

When you purchase the StaxInvesting options automation software, you are not locked in to our strategy! You have the option to use our proven backtested strategy or your own. We have included webhook functionality so you can use your own TradingView strategy, AI strategy, or even the strategy of another group if you wish to do so!
