Alternatives to TrendSpider

Two caveats. It is US equities only, so options traders are outside its scope. And its signals broadcast to the whole subscriber base simultaneously, which means participants compete for the same liquidity — a structural property of any broadcast model rather than a flaw specific to it.
If cost is the issue
Finviz covers screening and basic charting at a fraction of the price, with a usable free tier. It does not automate analysis, backtest, or execute — but if you were paying for a full bundle and using the screener, that is the honest downgrade.
Broker-native platforms are the other free option. They are generally weaker than any paid tool here and they cost nothing, which for occasional use is the right trade.
If you want strategy automation across more assets
Tradetron pairs a no-code builder with a marketplace across equities, options, futures, commodities, currencies, and crypto in US and Indian markets, with a large broker footprint.
The trade is that it has no charting or scanning layer worth the name. It is a build-and-execute platform rather than a research one.
If you have signals and need execution

TradersPost routes webhook signals to supported brokers, which suits anyone generating signals anywhere and wanting execution underneath.
StaxInvesting sits in the same layer with two differences: it is provisioned into your own cloud environment so broker credentials stay with you rather than in a vendor database, and it concentrates on options with a 0DTE emphasis — strike and expiry resolution, session spread behaviour, approval-level checks, and where exits live. That is self-hosted deployment with the corresponding responsibility for uptime.
Neither has any analysis capability. If research is what you need, execution infrastructure does not provide it.
The combination most people actually want
Because these are layers rather than competitors, the common architecture is research in one tool, a webhook carrying the signal, and execution underneath.
The consideration is cost and latency. Running two subscriptions is more expensive than one bundle, and every hop between signal and order adds delay — which matters little on swing positions and considerably on short-dated options, where price sensitivity accelerates through the session while spreads on out-of-the-money strikes widen.
How to choose
Name which layer is failing you. Wanting cheaper charting, wanting signals, wanting broader assets, and wanting better execution lead to four different answers.
If you are leaving on cost, check what you actually use first. Bundles look expensive next to a single-purpose tool and cheap next to three of them.
The honest limits
Switching research tools does not improve a strategy. Better charts do not create an edge, and automated analysis surfaces patterns without telling you whether they matter.
