DOPE Spreads runs a mix of options strategies. 1. Wheel. Sell a put, get assigned, buy 100 shares of stock, sell a call, sell 100 shares on assignment. Rinse and repeat. This is good for stocks you don't mind owning, it's lower risk, but it can be capital intensive (you need enough money to buy 100 shares). 2. Spreads. Typically call credit spreads, put credit spreads, and iron condors. It's essentially guessing the direction of the underlying stock. Less capital required than the wheel strategy, but you wouldn't be owning the underlying stock at any point.
