Your Account

Every free trial runs with Starter limits, no matter which plan you signed up for. That means $250 as the most you can put into one trade, and one strategy running at a time.

If that's too small for the way you want to trade, you don't have to wait for your trial to finish. You can pay for the days you have left and your full plan's limits switch on straight away.

Why your trial is capped

The cap isn't a mistake, and it isn't about your plan. It applies to everyone during a free trial, so nobody can use a trial as a free month of our largest plan.

Your real limits are waiting for you. They turn on by themselves the moment your trial converts — you don't have to do anything.

What it costs

You pay for the days left on your trial, at your own plan's daily rate. Nothing more.

Say you signed up for Trader, which is $99 a month, and you have 11 days of trial left:

  • $99 a month works out to $3.30 a day
  • $3.30 × 11 days = $36.30

You pay $36.30 today, and your Trader limits — $500 per trade and three strategies — are live within a minute or two.

Your billing date does not move

This is the part people worry about, so to be clear:

  • Your first monthly payment is still on the date it always was. Ending your trial early does not bring it forward and does not push it back.
  • It is one single payment for the days remaining. It is not a second subscription, and it is not an extra month.
  • Your plan, your price and your renewal date all stay exactly as they are.

Note

You're buying the remaining days, not a month. That's why the amount looks unusual — $36.30 rather than $99.00.

How to do it

  1. Go to Billing.
  2. On your plan card you'll see a note saying you're on a free trial, with your current limits and the date your trial converts.
  3. Press Start full plan.
  4. Check the figures, then confirm. You'll be sent to PayPal to approve the one-off payment.
  5. When you come back, your new limits are on.

Warning

This can't be undone. The rest of your free trial ends as soon as the payment goes through, so if you're happy waiting, just let the trial run and your limits will switch on by themselves.

If you hit the limit while setting up a strategy

You don't have to go looking for this. If you type a Max Capital Per Trade higher than your trial allows — or load a setup code that asks for more — the form turns the number red and tells you the limit.

Underneath that, it now also tells you what to do about it. On a trial, it says this is a trial limit rather than your plan's, what ending it early would cost, and what your per-trade limit becomes. There's a link straight to Billing.

Two cases where it won't offer that, on purpose:

  • If you asked for more than your plan allows anyway. If you're on Trader and type $5,000, ending your trial gets you to $500, not $5,000 — so it says so rather than taking a payment that leaves you still blocked.
  • If you're on Starter. See below.

The same note appears if you already have strategies saved above the limit. Those keep trading; the bot just sizes them down to the cap.

If you're on the Starter plan

You won't see this option, and that's deliberate — $250 per trade is the Starter limit, so ending your trial early wouldn't change anything for you.

If you need bigger trades, move up a plan instead. See Changing Your Plan.

If your trial ends today

You won't see this option either. With less than a day to go there's nothing worth charging you for — your full limits are about to switch on anyway.

After you've done it

Your Billing page stops showing the trial note and confirms your full limits are active, along with your unchanged first payment date.

If your limits still look like the old ones, give it a minute and reload the page — your bot picks up the change on its own. If they're still wrong after a few minutes, contact support.
