Every automation customer gets a month free on a paid strategy from the Marketplace — new customers and existing ones alike. It's our way of saying thanks: you pick any paid strategy on the Marketplace, your first 30 days cost nothing, and you can walk away before the month is up without ever being charged.
It's one free month per customer, not one per strategy — and it counts across every account you own, so claiming it on one licence uses it up on all of them.
How you'll know
The next time you log in, a window appears telling you the offer is waiting and which strategies you can choose from. You have two buttons:
- Choose my free month takes you straight to the Marketplace and highlights the strategies you can pick from.
- Remind me later closes the window. Nothing is lost — the offer is attached to your account, not to that window, so it'll greet you again next time you log in.
Even if you dismiss it every time, there's a banner across the top of the Marketplace page with the same Choose your strategy button. You can claim your free month whenever you're ready.
Picking your strategy
Once you press the button, the Marketplace dims everything you can't spend the free month on, so the ones you can pick stand out. Their button changes to Claim free month and gently pulses.
A strategy you're already subscribed to is dimmed too, even though it's part of the offer — you already have it, so it can't be your free month. Pick one of the highlighted ones instead.
Want to browse everything again? Press Show everything in the banner and the page goes back to normal. Nothing is hidden from you — the dimmed strategies are still clickable and you can still subscribe to any of them at the normal price.
If you're already subscribed to all of them
Then there's nothing to claim today — and your free month isn't lost. It stays on your account until there's something to spend it on.
You'll see a note at the top of the Marketplace saying it's been saved for later. It becomes available again the moment either of these happens:
- A new paid strategy is listed on the Marketplace. Every paid listing is part of the offer, including ones published after you claimed nothing — so a new arrival is immediately something your credit can be spent on.
- You cancel a strategy you're currently paying for. Once that subscription ends, that strategy is something you no longer have — so the free month can be spent on it (or on whatever else is on offer).
You won't get the login popup while there's nothing to pick, so it won't nag you about an offer you can't use yet.
Checking out
Click Claim free month and the usual checkout window opens with the discount already applied — you don't have to type a code (though there is one if you'd rather, see below). Before you approve anything, the window tells you exactly what will happen, for example:
$0.00 due today — your first month is free. Starting September 19, 2026, you'll be billed $20.00/mo until you cancel.
PayPal's own approval screen will say the same thing back to you: free for one month, then the strategy's normal monthly price. If those two ever disagree, don't approve it — contact us instead.
That price depends on which strategy you pick, so check the figure in the window before you approve.
Example
DOPE Spreads normally costs $20/month. You claim your free month on August 20th. You pay nothing on the 20th, the strategy is available in your Signal Sources straight away, and your first $20 charge lands on September 19th. If you cancel on September 10th, you're never charged a cent.
If the popup never appears
You don't need it. The offer is attached to your account, so you can also claim it by hand:
- Go to the Marketplace and press Subscribe on one of the offered strategies.
- In the checkout window, type
FREESTRATEGYMONTHinto the Promo code box and press Apply. - The window should update to show $0.00 due today. Approve it in PayPal as normal.
It's the same offer either way — the popup just saves you the typing. The code is safe to share, because it only ever works once per customer and only on the strategies the offer covers, so passing it to a friend doesn't cost you your own free month.
Note
If the code is refused, the message tells you why — most often it's a strategy the offer doesn't cover, one you already have, an account without an active automation subscription, or a free month you've already claimed. Your Subscribe button still works at the normal price in every one of those cases, so you're never stuck.
The rules, plainly
- One strategy, one time. The free month can be used once per customer, on one strategy. Once you've claimed it, the offer disappears — you can't come back for a second free month on a different one.
- This counts across all of your accounts. If you run more than one account with us, the free month is yours as a person, not one per license.
- It's for strategies you don't already have. If you're subscribed to one now — or were in the past and cancelled — the free month can't be spent on that one. It also counts if you were given access to a strategy without paying for it. You can still use it on a strategy you've never had.
- If you can't use it yet, you keep it. Being subscribed to everything on offer doesn't burn your free month; it just waits (see above).
- You need an active automation subscription to claim it.
After the free month
Nothing dramatic happens — your subscription simply carries on at the strategy's normal monthly price, and you're billed on the same date each month from then on.
If you decide it isn't for you, cancel any time from the Billing page. Cancel before your 30 days are up and you're never charged. Cancel later and you keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for.
Tip
Set yourself a reminder a few days before the first charge. That gives you time to look at how the strategy actually performed for you and decide whether to keep it — the date is printed in the checkout window and on your Billing page.
Note
The free month covers the strategy subscription only. Your automation subscription is billed as usual, and any trades the strategy takes use your real money in the normal way — so treat it like any other new signal source and consider trying it on Paper Trading first.
