Every trade on your Live Trades page can be turned into a ready-to-post picture, like the profit cards crypto exchanges and Webull let you share. It shows how the trade did, the StaxInvesting logo, and your own referral code with a QR code. Anyone who scans it and signs up is credited to you.
Where to find it
Every trade card has a small Share button at the bottom, next to the trade's open and close times. It works on:
- Open trades, which show your profit or loss right now (Unrealized P&L)
- Closed trades, which show the final result (Realized P&L)
Note
The button is greyed out on a trade whose entry order hasn't filled yet. There's no price to show until it does.
The designs
You get three designs to choose from. Winning trades get three celebratory ones, and losing trades get three that own the loss. Click a design under the big preview to switch to it.

The Money Printer and Regroup designs show a copy of the trade card you see in the portal, so people who know the app recognise it straight away.
Around holidays you may also see a Seasonal design at the front of the list. It only shows during that holiday.
Tip
The background patterns are drawn from your trade itself, so no two trades look exactly alike, and the same trade always makes the same picture. Each image also carries a small serial number (like STX-7F3A91C2) and the time it was made.
Choosing what's shown
The panel beside the preview lets you decide what goes on the picture:
- Show P&L as: a percentage, a dollar amount, or both. Percentage is the default because a dollar amount tells people how big your position was. On futures, the percentage choice shows points instead.
- Dollars net of fees: subtracts broker fees from the dollar figure. It only applies when dollars are showing.
- Entry & exit prices (or the current price on an open trade)
- Entry & exit times, shown in New York time and marked ET
- Referral QR code
- Broker logo: shows "Traded on" and your broker. Live trades only.
- Strike & expiration: turn this off to show just the symbol, like SPY instead of SPY 9/18 580C
- Strategy name
- Number of contracts: off by default
Your choices are remembered for next time.
Example
You bought 3 SPY 580 calls at $1.25 and sold them at $2.11. With the defaults, the picture reads SPY 9/18 580C, Long Call, +68.80%, with your entry and exit prices and times and your QR code. Switch Show P&L as to Both and it adds +$258.00 underneath.
Open trades
An open trade keeps moving while you're choosing a design, so the picture is frozen at the moment you pressed Share. The panel shows the time it was taken. Press Refresh to update it to the latest price.
Paper trades
A paper trade (see Paper Trading) is always clearly marked, on every design:
- a pink border
- a pink band across the top reading PAPER TRADE · SIMULATED · NO REAL MONEY
- PAPER TRADE printed faintly across the whole picture
The broker logo is never shown on a paper trade. A trade from a futures broker's demo (practice) account is marked DEMO ACCOUNT the same way.
Warning
The paper marking can't be turned off or cropped out, and the caption starts by saying it's a paper trade. That's deliberate: a simulated result must never be mistaken for real money.
The verified seal
If you've checked a closed trade against your broker (see Reconcile With Your Broker), its picture gets a green Broker Verified seal automatically. A trade that was missing and added from your broker's records gets a Broker Sourced seal. Open trades and paper trades never carry a seal.
Who gets the credit
You do. The QR code and the Referral code on the picture are yours. They're a shortened version of your account name, never your full licence key. Anyone who scans the code lands on the StaxInvesting pricing page, and if they sign up, the sale shows Referred by you.
Saving and posting
Under the preview:
- Save image downloads the picture. It always works.
- Copy image puts it on your clipboard so you can paste it straight into a post.
- Share… on a phone opens the normal share sheet for Instagram, X and so on.
Below those is a suggested caption with your trade, your referral link and the STAX20 discount code. Edit it to sound like you, then press Copy caption. Reset puts the original back.
Tip
Post the caption with the picture. A picture can't hold a clickable link, so the caption is what gets people to the site.

The picture is 1440 × 1000, a wide shape that looks good on X, Facebook, Discord and in text messages.
